TVWS Offers Wines From Argentina and Chile

13Mar2013_1e_TVWS-Argentina_WinesOn Wednesday March 13, the Treasure Valley Wine Society (TVWS) offered wines from Argentina and Chile and they were, overall, wonderful. Many, many thanks to Carl Abrahamson for presenting the wines and Robin Young for creating an interesting PowerPoint program. She worked many hours on creating the program as Carl did in finding and researching the wines. And as Melissa Delaney said,

I wanted to write a letter of thanks for the wonderful meeting last night. Carl and Robin put together a fun and enlightening presentation on Argentine and Chilean wines, and I learned a great deal about the region and wines themselves – especially the “workers” ;-). I did enjoy the seating arrangement because the focus became the wine, the round table arrangement is also good as it allows conversations – both are good choices and it’s fun to mix it up. Carl you created an outstanding selection of wines and I’m heading out this weekend to purchase some of my favorites. As always, you guys continue to amaze me. See you next month for the blind tasting! Melissa

With that in mind – Thank-You Melissa for the kind words – here are some photos of the night. Cheers!
