Cabernet and Chocolate at the TVWS Tasting

The wines were presented by Kathy Johnson and Bridgette Gibson-Hull, pictured here. Thank-You ladies for a job well done!
The wines were all good, but my favorite for the evening, and a favorite of a majority of the 30 folks who attended the tasting, was a 2010 Mount Veeder Winery Cabernet Sauvignon. It was a full bodied wine that went well with the meal and with the cheeses that were available. “… Fruit flavors of blackberry and cherry, layered with distinctive cocoa, tobacco and cedar …” Here are some photos from the night and the wines that were served.
