Indian Creek Winery Opens Their Library of Pinot Noirs

On the evening of May 6, the Indian Creek Winery (How do you like Tammy’s new sign?) in Kuna, Idaho, opened their library of Pinot Noir wines to their Wine Club Members. The array of wines was fantastic all the way from 1987 through the newest, a barrel sample of the 2010. Here is the run down of the wines.

1987 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir
losing fruit, but still very good

1992 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir
high acid

1997 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir
celery, light

2000 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir Reserve
very good but light

2002 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir
dry, wood tannins, strong

2005 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir
lovely fruit. big fruit

2008 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir
Burgundian full fruit, balanced, long finish

2010 Indian Creek Winery Pinot Noir (Barrel Sample)
lemon verbena, long life, well balanced, citrus, needs age

Here are some of the people that were there. It was an exciting evening.

Tammy made this awesome Couscous, Morel Mushroom and Bacon dish. There was also Lamb Meatballs, a grilled tapas toast, many cheeses and crackers. A delicious night! Thank-You Tammy and Mike and all for your effort and for having this party.

  1. Thanks Bob and Robin for the nice words and photos! That sign by the road is still the old sign! The new one is still in progress, but hopefully it will be up by June! Glad you came!
