Davis Creek is a small stream near Donnelly, ID. It once flowed into the Gold Fork River, but now helps farmers irrigate their fields in the surrounding Donnelly area.
Named after David Davis a homesteader in the area who later sold his property to Gina’s grandfather, Gilbert Davis (the two men were unrelated). Gilbert then began a life of farming and ranching on the property growing: dried peas, seed potatoes, cattle, and sheep. He also maintained a farm in Caldwell giving Gina’s family long time association in both valleys.
Davis Creek Cellars is a small winery founded in 2007. We produce red and white wines from grapes grown in the Snake River Valley AVA.New wines coming April 15th, 2011!
